On-page SEO for contractors

On-page SEO is everything on your website that tells Google what you do and where. Done right, it's what gets your pages ranking for the searches that bring jobs.

Google ranks what it can read and trust.

Your website can look great and still be invisible to Google if the on-page work isn't there. Titles, headings, structure, schema, internal links, the signals that tell search engines what each page is about and why it deserves to rank. On-page SEO is the behind-the-scenes work that turns a good-looking site into one that actually shows up and brings calls.

Questions

What's the difference between on-page and technical SEO?

On-page is the content and structure Google reads, titles, headings, schema, internal links, copy. Technical SEO is the site's plumbing, speed, crawlability, indexing. They overlap and both matter. We handle the full picture so nothing's quietly holding you back.

Will on-page SEO alone get me ranked?

It's a major piece, especially for organic local results, but local ranking also leans on your Google profile, reviews, and citations. On-page is the website half of the equation. For full results, it works alongside the profile and off-page work.

Do you do this on my existing site?

If your site is structurally sound, yes, we optimize what's there. If it's slow or badly built, on-page work has a ceiling, and a rebuild may be the better investment. We'll tell you honestly which gives you more return.

How long until on-page changes help?

On-page changes typically take four to eight weeks to index and show in rankings. It's not instant, but it's foundational, every other ranking effort works better on a properly optimized site. We build it to last, not to chase a quick bump.
